History
It is a historical event that our IIPE Laxmi Raman Matric Hr. Sec. School was started and commenced on 5th June, 2000 in the name as truncated school that means only with XI Std. and XII Std. classes and no lower classes. In our Southern Districts, this was the only truncated school started first and no other ventured like this.
Later the Tamilnadu Government instructed us to start with I std. and KG Classes.
The student's strength of our school was 1350 in the year 2004 and also then on.
Our school, having known the importance of CBSE, with hard endeavor, we were able to convert the Matric system to CBSE in the year 2021 in the name of IIP Laxmi Raman Global School (CBSE) and this academic year 2025 – 2026, the first batch of Grade 12 will appear for the CBSE common exam.
Our school land area is 3.56 acres with elevated school buildings with the area of 30,000 Sq. feet.
IIP Laxmi Raman Global Senior Secondary School (CBSE) is located on the Nellai – Tuticorin National Highway (NH) 38 & 44 at the fringe of Palayamkottai, the capital of Nellai District in Tamil Nadu, South India. The area itself is a picturesque serene place away from the frantic din of the Town, engulfed by ponds, hills and greenery.
The school caters to the age group of 2 1/2 years to 17 years from Pre.K.G. to Grade 12. It is affiliated with and recognized by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
